After struggling pretty much forever to actually finish Flash Cartoons (Pokemon But With Animals 4, anyone?), I've decided to take a new approach and make much shorter, 30 second cartoons from now on. I've called this project 30s, and it's been fun, as it forces me to write, voice, and animate in a really condensed way. It means I have to make decisions I otherwise wouldn't, and learn and grow to get around those decisions, and so far I've been enjoying it. 

I've seen a few projects where animators only give themselves a certain amount of time to complete a cartoon, say in 24 hours, and it can often feel self-serving; the artist gets to grow, but the audience can be left with something incomplete or rushed. Hopefully with 30s, I can deliver compact, funny cartoons to the best of my (crap) ability.

Love what you've done with your hair. Thought I'd keep you updated with my recent goings-ons!

Pokemon But With Animals 4 is plodding along, slowly but surely. I was originally hoping to get it out before the end of february, but I'm not sure how realistic that deadline is now. We'll see.

Hoping to launch my website within the next week, which will be sort of an online collection of videos, articles and comics by myself and friends. I've added a little screenshot of the homepage at the bottom, let me know what you think! If you want to be super awesome, you can add us on Facebook too!

Also working on a cartoon about bees with kiigen and hopefully a cartoon about the pope with Patonion, so looking forward to them! They're both awesome animators, with different styles, and it'll be good to see them bring my dumb little ideas to life!

Also wrote episode one of a short comic series called "Confessions of a Superhuman", which is being drawn by my very talented friend, Henry Finnegan, and is based on a short story by my Brother, Joel, who's also helping write the series.

Also, I've got a part time bar job to make ends meet. Start my first shift tonight, wish me luck!

You're looking good. Have you lost weight? Just seen 'Molly & the magical ponies' has made front page!! Daily 4th too! YEAH.

One of the main complaints I've always got about the few cartoons I've done is that THEY SUCK and also that they take too damn long, when they're basically just tween-fests and bad graphics. I rarely had much time to do as many cartoons as I wanted because I worked as an Engineer 100 miles away from my house. It was hard trying to juggle everything and fit in time for hobbies as well. But hopefully that will be changing.

This year I've decided I definitely DON'T want to be an engineer, and while I'm pretty sure it's going to be SUPER FUN figuring out what the hell I'm going to do now after 3 years of university studying engineering and 3 and a half years working as an engineer, my first ambition is to do something I've always wanted to but never had the balls; writing. Writing cartoons, writing books, short stories and scripts, all sorts of crap. I just want to try it. I finish my job first week of February.

So hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me. (Uh-oh)

Just to keep you internet warriors in the loop, I'm only about halfway through. Really struggling with this one, as i don't have as much time as I used to. I'm heavily debating hiring another animator if I do a fourth, because people want them, and i just can't deliver as fast as I'd like to. Bad news i'm afraid, i've been like super busy with work, moving into a new flat, and getting laser eye surgery, which means i'm only just getting round to working on Pokemon 3. Good news is it's coming, (before summer 2015), it's all written, I just need to record it and start it. I'm hoping to have it out in less than 2 months (Before Arkham City comes out, cos that game is the tits).

Also, me and my mate are planning on revamping our website (www.thehamwallet.com) real soon, make it look all sexy an' ting.
