Hi Newgrounds!

You're looking good. Have you lost weight? Just seen 'Molly & the magical ponies' has made front page!! Daily 4th too! YEAH.

One of the main complaints I've always got about the few cartoons I've done is that THEY SUCK and also that they take too damn long, when they're basically just tween-fests and bad graphics. I rarely had much time to do as many cartoons as I wanted because I worked as an Engineer 100 miles away from my house. It was hard trying to juggle everything and fit in time for hobbies as well. But hopefully that will be changing.

This year I've decided I definitely DON'T want to be an engineer, and while I'm pretty sure it's going to be SUPER FUN figuring out what the hell I'm going to do now after 3 years of university studying engineering and 3 and a half years working as an engineer, my first ambition is to do something I've always wanted to but never had the balls; writing. Writing cartoons, writing books, short stories and scripts, all sorts of crap. I just want to try it. I finish my job first week of February.

So hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of me. (Uh-oh)

Just keeping y'all in the loops. Hope you like Molly.

Next project - Pokemon But With Animals Instead 4.

JW why would you goto college for 3 years studying engineering, then just write instead. Just seems like a waste of time and money to me.

I understand what you're saying, but I also worked for 3 and a half years. Paid for my laser eye surgery, made some awesome friends, got work experience, got life experience, saved up enough money to support myself this year. It wasn't a waste.

Maybe if I hadn't have done that, I wouldn't be as determined as I am now to write quality content? You never know. 18 year old me was very, very lazy.

Congratulations dude! I look forward to more PBWAI4. :D

Thanks man!

Engineering and construction is so boring and tedious. Screw the pay.

Yeah. I'm also not very good at it haha!

great man! :D

Hey man i love your work and u just reminded me to check PBWAI again : )
About the your troubles, be what you want to be and do what you want to do,you do not have to rush deciding anything, fuck this system and its retarded masters.Take your time and when you really find out what you want to be,it will be easy.
Oh and i don't think you want to be any of the things this system/anyone else advertises.
'I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.' Albert Einstein.

Thanks mate. It's hard deciding what you want to "be". Especially when you're a kid. I still have no idea, but I've always enjoyed making things. If there's some way I can manage a living off that, then I'll be a happy man. Thanks for the comment.

Nice, pretty much my story as well, except for a few minor details. (like i have not made any content and my time isn't taken up by travel)
I hope things go well for you and the future bring you prosperity 8)

Thanks bud. I always had a million half finished projects when I was growing up, never had the guts to finish one. I got lucky with Pokemon BWAI and it went viral. Gives you a lot of confidence, which helps with the next ones. Might be worth seeing what you can do with whatever content you'd like to make?

I'm glad to see you on production, but I'm also sorry about your change of mind. I hope you find your way. It is hard to survive nowadays, money-like speaking, so I wish you good luck!!!

Thanks man, I appreciate that.

Good luck getting more imersed in the cartoon making fore! I actually encountered the same dilemma with my college majors. Originally I wanted biology, but decided to get more of a focus in art. Can't wait for Pokemon BWAI 4. Really like the focus in writing over animation in many of your cartoons though the timing is still hilarious with the character movements.

Thanks man. It's hard choosing between the sensible academic choice and the more creative but risky choice. I chose academic then regretted it. Hope it goes well for you anyway. Cheers, I'm hoping I can keep making people laugh with crappy animations haha!

Haha, you're going to give your parents a heart attack. :D

Haha they already know. They were shocked but are reluctantly supportive. Happiness > Money. Just need to make sure I work at it and don't give them ammunition for a TOLD YOU SO.

Cool that you finally decided to comeback. Hope to see alot from you.

Thanks. Hope to do a lot!

Buy lottsa Spam while you can still afford to do so.... hope some foreigner doesn't nick your old job.

Bulk purchase of spam. Got it.

*points down* You tewrk mahr jerb!!!

Anyway, I loved Pokemon but with animals instead! I feel hyper just hearing the news! I bid you a good, exciting and smooth road, sir!:D

Awesome. Exciting and smooth roads are my top favourite kind of roads. I like my roads like my shaves. Exciting and smooth.

I'd rather have your animation style with stuff that's funny than beautiful art with lackluster content. You bring the lols brah.

Haha thanks man! I'd rather have a combination of the two, but I've got a long way to go before I can do that by myself haha!

I'm going to college to become a computer engineer, You're scaring me I hope I don't end up quitting it like you did! Theres just way too much crap that goes into getting that degree I would DIE if it went to waste. The only reason im doing engineering is cuz I gotta get a job that'll pay the bills, so if you could pay your bills and make it without engineering then I totally get why you quit the shit isnt fun. Goodluck AND MAKE IT WORK.

Nice, I was a Civil Engineer. Don't let me put you off mate, it's a good job. Good pay, great benefits, hours were a bit shit, but there's so many more people in worse jobs. I've just got zero passion for it. I've managed to save enough to give myself about a year to MAKE IT WORK (which is good advice), but I'll soon need a part time job to pay the bills. Hope your degree goes well, it's hard work, but worth it if you enjoy it or it brings you a higher, more preferred lifestyle. My job gave me neither. Good luck!

I'm glad to hear that you're unemployed now! More cartoons for the fans. :D

But seriously, I hope the best for you man. You're a hilarious guy, and you should be successful with your writing business. I at least hope you're successful.

Thanks man! I just want to see what I can do really. It might go tits up, but I'm at a point where it's now or never. May as well try my best!

What's wit da milk?

Milk killed my family then uploaded the footage to YouTube. He also scratched my old destruction derby cd for ps1. We're not friends.

Good luck going full time writing and whatnot. If you ever need an animator for one of your projects please send me a pm.

Thanks man! Yeah, just had a look at your profile, your art is great! I can't watch your cartoons at work, so I'll have a look later and let you know if I have any projects that suit your style, see what you think! Cheers.

Yo Ryan, do you still want me to help working on PBWAI4 or have you find someone else?

Hey man, sorry I meant to contact you the other day. I'll pm you.

You worked as an engineer 160 km away from your house!? You must've REALLY liked your home or something to commute like that. Unless of course that distance isn't out of the ordinary in the UK - I wouldn't know. But changing your career to pursue your passion is badass. I wish you success in your endeavors.

Yeah, I travel up on Sunday and go back on Friday. Got some crap cheap digs up here. It's not unusual in the UK, especially in construction. It's about a 2/3 hour drive. I know people who work 6 hour drives from their homes. It's nuts really. You always feel rushed and like you can't get time to do what you want to do. Thanks though, I like to think I am incredibly badass.

Ryan, you're the best. I completely support you, and will continue to promote your videos. Also if you start selling shit in an online store I shall buy it, because I wish I could be a writer like you! Oh, I've always wanted to write scripts and such, but I have to learn art and flash first!
Good luck, Ryan! Continue your hard write scripts and/or hate milk!

Thanks bud! Think it will be a while before I have anything worth selling to anybody! haha! I'll do my best to write scripts AND hate milk!
